The homeowner of this modern property in Addlestone, Surrey was looking to have our shutters installed throughout their open plan kitchen and dining area.
The shutters were to be created for sash and flat windows, installed recessed and tight to each window.
There was also a great looking window above the sink which has a curved top and needed some special shaped shutters to finish the look.
With all our shutters made to order after a full survey is carried out, we can design all shutters to work with standard, or irregular shaped windows still maintaining the same finish.
John and Kirk were on hand to carry out this installation, the main aim of the client to add light control and a warm feel throughout their main social place in the home. We used a mix of full height and tier on tier shutters with invisible splits found on the full height flat window shutters so they still have lighting and privacy flexibility, without the need for a visible mid rail.
All shutters were crafted from our Fiji hardwood range as the customer wanted to use a natural wood product. We used thick 76mm louvres in the panels and finished all shutters and frames in bright white with matching hinges and hardware, which looks great with the room!
