John was in the town of Orpington in Kent to fit these window shutters with integrated blinds for a clients cinema room. The client was keen to gain as much room darkening as possible to stop sun glare on the cinema screen and also for privacy.
Our full height shutters complete with integrated blinds are one of the best methods of achieving room darkening in a room such as this. With the shutters perfectly crafted to fit the exact sizing of the window, there is no leakage around the sides which you would get with traditional dressings. Further to this the built in blind can be pulled down at any time to give even further room darkening behind the shutter louvres.
We created the shutters from our Antigua range in a full height style with mid rails in the middle of the shutter panels, lined up with the mid section of the windows behind. We used 64mm louvres with a hidden tilt rod system, allowing for a clean and minimal appearance with no visible rods. All in all these shutters achieved exactly what the client was after and a professional finish and look which really works in the room!
