Tom was in Wallington, Surrey to install these beautiful bespoke full height shutters to a living room and bathroom area of the clients home. Although both created in full height style, there are differences due to the windows they were installed to and the individual design.
The living room shutters, fitted to a lovely bay window, feature a visible mid rail across the shutters which match perfectly with the lines of the windows behind. The bathroom shutters are more of a minimalistic look, using a hidden mid rail, still lining up with the window behind but not visible unless the louvres are adjusted. The hidden mid rail allows for adjustment of the tops and bottoms separately, while maintaining a clean, minimal look.
All shutters were created using our entry level MDF, an extremely durable material which is more cost effective than our hardwood ranges. The shutters all feature hidden tilt rod systems, again adding to the minimalistic feel of them and have 76mm louvres which is our most popular size, allowing in generous amounts of light into the rooms with great privacy.
