Tom visited the home to carry out this expert installation of shutters to a pair of French doors in the bedroom. The client wanted to make the most of the style they bring, but importantly also gain some privacy and light regulation at the same time!
These bespoke full height shutters with mid rail for strength and extra adjustment really look the part. They were installed perfectly to allow for full access and room for the doors and handles behind. Made from our Fiji range of Paulownia wood they are a durable hardwood finished in a lovely pure white paint which matches the French doors behind.
We used 76mm louvres combined with a hidden tilt rod system to create a modern, contemporary look which can be adjusted without traditional rods, simply by touching one of the louvres moving all on the panel. Our customer was amazed with the end result, which has transformed the look and use of the area!
