They opted for this so that the shutters would seamlessly wrap throughout the whole area of the conservatory, with the side door left as it is. The main middle door which opens out into the garden and patio area can now be fully used for light control and privacy in the same way as the surrounding windows.
We created the shutters in a full height style with mid rails on the window shutters to match the lines of the conservatory windows and the door shutters feature a mid rail directly in the middle for added strength and a special shaped French door cut out around the handle. All shutters feature thick 89mm louvres and hidden tilt rod systems for a more modern look.
The customer was keen to have an eye catching window dressing, with these bespoke shutters installed by Ben and Kirk certainly doing the job! They were also keen to take advantage of the insulation properties of our hardwood shutters as they were having trouble with keeping the conservatory warm in the colder seasons.
