Can we still visit and offer home appointments?

Yes – our industry classification is construction and therefore we can continue to offer our customers home quotations, surveys and installations whilst following strict government guidelines.

The health and safety of our customers and staff is our priority and therefore we have taken additional steps to improve everyone’s safety. This includes confirming the health and wellbeing of both staff and customers by electronic signature before each appointment, wearing P.P.E. for our visit and more.

We do understand that the current restrictions are both very important  and appropriate. We will continue to monitor the government’s guidelines for any changes in their advice and will make immediate changes to our working practises in order to stay in line with all the advice given by the government.

What is our current lead time for shutters?

Our current standard lead time for plantation shutters is 10-14 weeks and express shipping is currently 4-6 weeks. Unfortunately with the turbulence we are encountering across the globe these lead times are approximate and could be quicker or longer depending on a number of factors.

How are we coping with the impact of Covid-19?:

At ShuttersUp, we took the decision 3 years ago to be at the very forefront of our marketplace – What does this mean?

Over the last 18 months we have been working with trusted advisors to the trade industry, improving the internal workings of our operation. This was to ensure that we are financially sustainable and in doing so, we are able to weather storms within the market. This means that we can give you, our customer – trust that we are here for the long term.

We are proactively monitoring the situation very carefully and we are taking every step possible to ensure the smoothest journey for all of our customers orders. Please also be reassured that we are partnered with one of the Uk’s largest shutter suppliers as well as the largest shutter manufacturer in the world.

Therefore we are very confident that we can continue to fulfill our client’s orders for the foreseeable future.

On Covid-19:

Like everyone, we are devastated to see the impact that the covid-19 disease has had on people’s families, our country and indeed the world. Our thoughts are with the families of those who have already suffered at the hands of this deadly virus and those who are currently battling the virus.
