Tom was in one of our local areas of Croydon, Surrey to install these fantastic shutters to a clients main bedroom area. The shutters were to be installed to three windows, one large and two smaller each side. The framing of the shutters for the middle window were not only designed around the window behind, but also in a way that allows the panels to neatly open outwards, revealing the integrated blind behind.
The shutters can be used with or without the blind and adjusted anywhere in between for the ultimate in near room darkening and light control when required. Our client was keen to achieve room darkening when we sat down and discussed their requirements.
Using our premium Samoa range, we crafted these shutters in a full height style. Our client was keen to achieve a modern, slick look, which we designed using many elements. These included hidden hinges, hidden tilt rod (No visible tilt rod required for adjustment) and using thick 89mm louvres.
All shutters were finished in a lovely pure white paint which works perfectly with the décor and room as you can see!
