Our shutters can cover really wide areas, with these patio doors being the perfect area to install, helping to add lighting, privacy and airflow even with the patio doors open. The patio doors neatly slide to the sides and the shutters needed to do the same. We used bi-folding shutters which work in the same way as the doors, perfectly lining up.
The shutters themselves are made from paulownia wood from our Fiji range of hardwood. We used a hidden tilt rod system for a modern and minimalist feel, mid rail half way up the panels for strength and flexibility of adjustment and nice thick 76mm louvres. We finished the installation in a pure white paint which works wonders with the current room.
