A customer from Biggin Hill in our local county of Kent approached us looking for some bespoke shutters for their en-suite bathroom. They had modernised the bathroom and were looking to add the finishing touches to their window area with some of our shutters.
We worked with the client to come up with a design that would work with their en-suite and their own personal tastes. One of our installers Tom then completed the work, creating the ultimate finish and a delighted customer!
These shutters are made from our Fiji hardwood range, which is a high quality Paulownia wood. The design needed to be modern and contemporary to match the room, so we used full height shutters with a hidden split allowing for the louvres to be opened top and bottom with no visible break and perfectly matching with the window lines behind!
We used 63mm louvres which are our most popular size and make for plenty of light into the bathroom but with the privacy that you expect in such a room. The hidden tilt rods and plain stiles further add to the modern look.
We finished the shutters by installing them with brushed nickel hinges adding that important attention to detail for the customer. The shutters sit perfectly against the white wall and match in with the colouring of the tiling on the other side.
