Roy and Shaun were out in our local area of Bromley to fit some of our stunning shutters to this living room bay window area. The room is undergoing a slight renovation and our plantation shutters are just part of the new look that the client is trying to achieve.
This bay window allows light from all angles to stream into the room and the customer was looking to make the most out of this, with a window dressing which can accurately control the lighting and privacy throughout the day. By opting for our tier on tier shutters they certainly made the right choice as these are our most flexible shutters available!
We created the shutters from our Antigua MDF shutters, which as you can see even though they are not hardwood, as a more affordable option they look and feel much the same. They feature thick 76mm louvres with a silent tilt rod system, which creates a slightly more modern feeling set against the traditional wall skirting and architraves in the room. The perfect mix we think.
All shutters were finished in pure white matching the window surrounds, architraves and other elements of the room. Our client was thoroughly impressed with the job and is looking forward to using their new shutters and the aesthetic difference they have made inside and outside of the property!
