Mark was on hand in Dulwich to install these tier on tier shutters for a client’s bedroom area. The room was made up of two good size windows above radiators on either side of the room.
When designing the shutters with the clients input, they were keen to have 4 panels on each section of shutters as they would fold neater against the wall when opened. We agree, this is a great way to neatly fold the shutters and create the feeling of more space in the room!
The tier on tier design of the shutters allows the top and bottom sections to be opened separately, our most flexible style of shutters and as you can see in the picture, shows their versatility when it comes to mixing lighting and privacy.
The shutters are made from Fiji hardwood, with 64mm louvres and visible tilt rods on each shutter, making for a traditional look, still in keeping with the style of the room. All shutters were finished in a lovely silk white.
