Thomas and Roy were out in our local area of Bromley, Kent to install these bay window shutters that we had designed for our customers Grant and Lucy. The couple required bay window shutters for two different rooms, but wanted them to match in style and finish. One of the bay window areas was slightly larger, requiring 7 panels of shutters compared to the other needing 5. Regardless of this we designed the shutters to the exact same specification, look and finish.
Using the exact measurements of the windows and window area we carefully designed the shutters to not only fit the area perfectly, but also to match the lining of the windows so that they looked perfect from inside and also importantly outside of the property. By placing the mid rail line about two thirds of the way up the panels we not only matched the window lines, but it will allow the customer to adjust the top section independently of the rest of the panel depending on the light and privacy they require.
The shutters were made using our Antigua range, in a full height style. We used plain stiles with a 4 sided deep plain L frame when installing the shutters and nice thick 89mm louvres throughout. The shutters were finished in a pure white in both rooms, resulting in an install that Grant and Lucy were extremely happy with!
