As well as residential properties, we are often asked to supply and fit shutters to a range of different buildings and rooms including hotels. This hotel in Kensington required some of our bespoke shutters for one of their amazing suites. We were tasked with creating the perfect solution for the area including the best style and colour.
After discussing the options with our client we decided on using full height shutters with 2 mid rails. These shutters fit perfectly with the modern decor of the suite and allow great lighting, while also offering total privacy from overlooking rooms. With the 2 mid rails the hotel guest is able to adjust the different sections for light and privacy depending on their preference.
The shutters can be quickly and easily adjusted by hand using a hidden tilt rod system throughout. Touching a single louvre will adjust all the louvres on that section. We created the shutters in a Cocoa colour with natural wood grain showing. The thick 89mm louvres work great for both looks and adjustment fitted on narrow shutter panels. We finished off the shutters with some antique brass hinges.
