They were keen to have full control over the light entering the room and a window dressing which would be easy to clean and keep looking fresh throughout the year!
On arriving at the property Mark took the shutters out of the van, carefully packaged to avoid any damage in transit and make sure that all the shutters arrive at the home ready to be fitted in nothing but perfect condition.
Outside of the property Mark got everything ready for the install, unpack aging the shutters outside to avoid any mess being created in the house.
We always make sure to be overly cautious with people’s homes, putting down dust mats and making sure to clear up any mess as we go. One of the things we really take pride in is leaving the customer’s house in the same condition as we found it. (with the addition of their lovely new shutters of course!)
The framing of the shutters was positioned ready for installation and carefully fitted to the bay window area ready for the main shutters to be put in place.
The shutters used in this installation were from our Antigua range, full height in style with a mid-rail designed to match with the lines of the PVC windows behind.
We also finished the shutters in pure white which we commonly use for these kinds of windows for the best match in colour. With older style windows we would normally opt for a silk white! The client also opted to have shutters featuring our silent tilt rod system, allowing for the louvres to be adjusted without any rods on the panels.
